Hero was good, but definitly not a sleeper hit like Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon. Even for an action flick, it seems that the director was all about creating memorable freeze-frames with stark colors. Actually, even the action seemed a little forced. I'd recommend seeing it in a theater, I don't think a home viewing can do justice to the battle scenes.

On a related note, the www.herothemovie.com website has been down all day. Surprising since movies are all about generating buzz early.
